User Input Results.

I thank *cough* everyone *cough* for giving me ideas for my project here...  Ok, ok...  I admit I was expecting at least a few more suggestions;  Like around 7-10 different people.  That was my goal.  But I can still work with what I have.  I just have to work mostly on what I expect out of a chat client.

So.  Here's the run down of my current project:
It's going to be a DeviantArt Chat Client, connecting through dAs current chat servers.
The chat window will be a rather standard mashup between the browser client and a standalone program, including more options that are typically found in the 3rd party add-ons or 3rd party clients:
Default Client Functionality: Chatroom Tabs, Title, Topic, Conversation Window, User List, and Input Box.  All this will follow similar format to the normal client.  'Chatroom Settings' Manager and Emoticons Browser will be goal features but not priority features initially.
Program Functionality: Menu Bar at the top presenting options and access to various commands, Whole window resizable, Browser links to the rest of the site.  I intend to make some of the links dynamic, like the notifications icon, and settings for how often to update that would be somewhere in options.
Add-On Functionality: Input modification shortcuts (Multi-Line, bold, underline, italics, super/subscript, etc), Chat Colours (chat text), Auto-Join, Color Theme Management.

So those are my goals for this project.  Are they set in stone? No.  Am I still open to constructive suggestions? Of course.  But this is pretty much what I am going off of unless a feature idea really strikes me as something I want to add or I get a well constructed enough reason not to include a feature.
